| Job description: |
Working for this prestigious firm in South West London, you will manage all aspects for Health & Safety for their Corporate Head office and international offices. Responsibilities include: * Facilitate compliance with relevant health & safety legislation across all departments * Review and develop health & safety Policy and Procedures * Provide the necessary support to management to implement health & safety Policy and Procedures * Continually appraise the effectiveness of health & safety Policy and Procedures and recommend any changes in line with development * Formally review health & safety performance and submit regular progress reports to the Board * Manage health & safety risks to the business and develop a strategic safety management system * Conduct periodical workplace inspections to identify unsafe conditions and practices, and detail actions to rectify these * Manage employee DSE assessments, ensuring records are accurately maintained in accordance with the DSE Regulations

| Candidate profile: |
·Able to demonstrate ability to undertake the above responsibilities ·Experience in a similar role ·Recognised Health & Safety Degree, Diploma, MSc or equivalent qualification ·General computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet skills ·Excellent written and verbal communication skills – articulate and diplomatic manner ·Excellent organisational skills ·Ability to initiate and manage projects through to completion ·Ability to manage and prioritise tasks and time efficiently ·Able to cope with conflicting demands and to prioritise duties and work under pressure ·Able to build good relationships at all levels, internally and externally ·Flexible attitude ·Demonstrate Initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks ·Good interpersonal skills and able to work independently and as part of an effective team ·Methodical and accurate and consistent attention to detail ·Appreciation of, and commitment to the business of the Practice ·Must be reliable ·Excellent personal presentation ·Strong planning and workload management skills with the ability to manage short term and long term activities to agreed deadlines ·Due to the nature of the position there will be a requirement to work additional hours as necessary
