To manage the design, maintenance, installation and commissioning activities in line with our clients contractual obligations and to customers’ complete satisfaction. To manage a variety of projects that will improve the quality and profitability of our business (asset management, performance management, in – house training etc.) To manage Fire Alarm Engineers in all aspect of their role, including routine and reactive maintenance to a broad range of fire safety equipment, and the installation and commissioning of fire safety equipment This role necessitates being office based for at least 2-3 days per week, and the remainder of the time being spent in the field with clients / staff.

| Candidate profile: |
Extensive knowledge of fire protection systems in commercial and industrial premises. Fully Conversant with BS5839:2002. Previous contract management experience, particularly budget control, quality system and staff management. Client-focused with excellent customer service skills. Excellent communication, analytical and negotiation skills. Experience of supervising others. Comprehensive technical knowledge and experience in fault finding, installation and commissioning Able to schedule work effectively. Ability to work alone and as part of a team. Good time management skills. Flexibility A strong work ethic with honesty and integrity. Willingness to learn new products/systems.

The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for the design of new/refit opportunities in the Retail sector. Other experience should include: Experience in a lighting design role with either consultant or manufacturer. Must be proficient & conversant with AutoCAD. Must be proficient & conversant with DIALux. (Ltg design software) Experience with Photoshop (Creating Visualisations) Nice to have but not essential Must be proficient & conversant with MS Office. (PowerPoint) Must be able todemonstrate presentation skills. (Can you bring an example of your work? ) Must have good verbal & written skills. Must show a good rounded knowledge of lighting.
